Use the free checklist and conversation prompts to identify practical gaps in your existing workplace process.

2. Keep it current

Join the founding SME membership for editable resources, updates, campaign materials and group support.

Questions from small employers

Before you get started

Is this only for employers with 250 or more staff?

No. The service is specifically designed for small and growing organisations. Equality action-plan requirements for large employers are a separate issue; smaller employers still benefit from clear risk-review, support and manager processes.

Does the toolkit make an organisation legally compliant?

No. The resources are practical starting points and must be adapted. They do not certify compliance or replace legal, HR, occupational-health or medical advice.

Do you collect employee medical information?

No employee medical records are required for the employer enquiry or membership-interest process. Employers should keep individual support discussions confidential and use appropriate internal processes.

Can we book training without joining the membership?

Yes. Submit a workplace brief for manager training, awareness sessions, policy support or a tailored programme.

Useful primary guidance: Acas: supporting staff through the menopause and GOV.UK: conduct a menopause risk assessment.
